Summary:

Ability to read and work from blueprints, schematic diagrams and specification manuals.
Requires specialist knowledge, training, and experience related to analytical instrumentation to include selected technique groups such as HPLC, GC, Liquid Handling, Automation, Optical Systems, Biology and Chemistry Analyzers.
Responsibilities:
Hazard waste removal, international hazardous shipping Glass wash Performs basic to complex repairs and coordinates the removal/replacement of instruments/devices needing overhaul during scheduled maintenance.
Reinstalls, tests, evaluates, calibrates, and maintains instruments or devices upon completion of repairs.
Locates part sources, estimates costs and prepares requisitions.
Coordinates with outside contractors regarding repairs covered by maintenance agreements.
Communicates with customer staff and outside contractors in the calibration, repair, and operation of equipment, as necessary.
Documents daily records of inspections, maintenance activity, repairs, and other work performed within approved guidelines and procedures.
Escalate instrument performance concerns or breakdown support for resolution to higher level staff or specialty vendors.
Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.
May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers.
May coordinate work and assign tasks.
Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.
Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
Must Haves:
Experience-must be able to pass, IATA, RCRA, DOT training Must have experience working with pharmaceutical waste PM tracking and creation High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required and a minimum of two years of related experience and/or training.
