Receptionist - Part Time

Location: Bergey's Ford, Ambler PA
Shift: Monday - Thursday 5:00pm-9:00pm, Saturdays 9:00am-5:00pm (Saturdays are a must)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Greets customers as they arrive in a pleasant and professional manner.
Answers incoming phone calls in a prompt, polite, and professional manner.
Screens calls, directs them to the proper party, and/or obtains enough information to allow for follow-up that is convenient for the customer.
Prepares and closes invoices on the computer system in a timely manner.
Receives cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers and records the amounts received.
Reconciles cash drawer daily, as directed by the accounting office.
Follows up on accounts receivable to maintain satisfactory levels of payment.
Assists manager as necessary.
Prepares purchase orders.
Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computor skills , Microsoft office

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
