Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Korman Residential, a leader in the apartment and corporate suites industries, has a portfolio of furnished and unfurnished apartment communities in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. This position is located in Ambler, PA and offers a great salary and benefits package.


Responsibilities



  • Maintaining curb appeal, trash and debris removal

  • Miscellaneous tasks as directed by general manager and maintenance supervisor.

  • Ensure all property equipment is functioning properly and that apartments are in good repair

  • Ensure all vacant apartments are ready for move-in by new residents

  • Perform preventative maintenance around the property

  • Perform, maintain and track work orders


Qualifications



  • General knowledge of carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, tile and flooring work

  • Be willing to attend inside and outside training classes

  • On-call required

  • Valid driver's license

  • Physical requirements: heavy lifting, walking stairs, moving appliances, bending, reaching.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
